  1. READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE USING
  2. OR DISTRIBUTING ENTECH TAIWAN DOCUMENTATION, SOFTWARE AND ADDITIONAL
  3. MATERIALS (THE "SOFTWARE"). THE SOFTWARE IS COPYRIGHTED AND LICENSED (NOT SOLD)
  4. TO YOU AND BY INSTALLING, USING OR DISTRIBUTING THE SOFTWARE, YOU ARE ACCEPTING
  5. AND AGREEING TO THE TERMS OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT. IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO
  6. BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT, YOU SHOULD NOT INSTALL, USE OR
  7. DISTRIBUTE THIS SOFTWARE. THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT REPRESENTS THE ENTIRE 
  8. AGREEMENT CONCERNING THE SOFTWARE BETWEEN YOU AND ENTECH TAIWAN, AND IT 
  9. SUPERCEDES ANY PRIOR PROPOSAL, REPRESENTATION, OR UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE 
  10. PARTIES.

  12. 1. EVALUATION PERIOD.  You may use a Shareware Copy of the Software for an
  13. evaluation period of up to 30 days, in order to determine whether the Software
  14. meets your needs before purchasing it.  Once the evaluation period ends, you
  15. agree to either purchase a Registered Copy of the Software, or to stop using it
  16. and remove it from your computer system.  If you have ordered a Registered Copy
  17. of the Software from us, you may continue to use your Shareware Copy until your
  18. Registered Copy or Registration Key arrives.

  20. 2. USE OF THE SOFTWARE.  While evaluating the Software, you may use it on
  21. as many computers as are required to perform your evaluation. Your 30-day
  22. evaluation period begins when you first install the Software on one or more
  23. computers for evaluation purposes. Once the evaluation period is over and you
  24. purchase the Software, you may only use the Software on one computer at a time. 
  25. You may install the Software on no more than two computers, as long as you own
  26. both computers and there is no possibility of the Software being used at the 
  27. same time on different computers. For multiple system licenses please contact
  28. EnTech Taiwan for special pricing. You must not (a) defeat, or try to defeat, 
  29. messages in the Software which encourage users to register; (b) modify or 
  30. prepare derivative works of the Software; (c) or reverse engineer, decompile
  31. or disassemble the Software.

  33. 3. DISTRIBUTING SHAREWARE COPIES OF THE SOFTWARE. You may make copies of your
  34. full, unregistered Shareware Copy of the Software to give to others. However 
  35. you may not sell Shareware Copies of the Software for a profit. Shareware 
  36. distribution companies may charge their normal shipping and handling fees. 
  37. Please also note that distribution of the Shareware Version of this Software
  38. may only be through the normal shareware distribution channels as a single 
  39. package. You MAY NOT bundle shareware copies of this Software with your 
  40. freeware, shareware or commercial products without the express written 
  41. permission of EnTech Taiwan.

  43. 4. COPYING REGISTERED COPIES OF THE SOFTWARE.  When you receive a Registered
  44. Copy of the Software or a registration key you may make copies of the Software
  45. which are necessary for normal backup purposes only.  You agree not to make any
  46. other copies of the software, or sell or give any copies or your registration
  47. key to others.

  49. 5. LEGAL DISCLAIMER. THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY
  50. KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED
  51. WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE
  52. RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE
  53. SOFTWARE PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, 
  54. REPAIR OR CORRECTION.

  56. IN NO EVENT WILL ENTECH TAIWAN, OR ANY OTHER PARTY WHO MAY HAVE DISTRIBUTED THE
  57. SOFTWARE AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY 
  58. GENERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR
  59. INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA OR 
  60. DATA BEING RENDERED INACCURATE OR LOSSES SUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD PARTIES OR A
  61. FAILURE OF THE SOFTWARE TO OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER PROGRAMS), EVEN IF SUCH 
  62. HOLDER OR OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
